Hands-on testing disclosure
Not all products reviewed on SmartPickTech are personally tested by our team. When a product has been tested hands-on, the article is clearly labeled: "Tested by the SmartPickTech team."
When there is no hands-on test, the article is based on rigorous multi-source research, benchmark data, and aggregated consumer reviews. We do not fabricate testing experiences or publish invented impressions.
Content originality
SmartPickTech publishes only original content. We do not copy or substantially reproduce content from manufacturers, marketplaces (Amazon, Best Buy, etc.), competitor websites, or any other external sources. Spec tables, quotes, and factual data may be cited from official sources, but all analysis, commentary, and recommendations must be original.
Editorial independence and commercial relationships
Affiliate links in our articles do not influence our recommendations under any circumstances. We do not publish positive reviews in exchange for payment, higher commissions, or product gifts. We do not alter review scores or suppress criticism based on commercial considerations.
Products we do not recommend do not receive affiliate links. Products we recommend are evaluated under the same criteria regardless of whether they generate revenue for the site.

Sponsored content policy
SmartPickTech does not publish sponsored product reviews disguised as independent editorial. If a formal commercial partnership ever leads to published content, it will be clearly labeled as "Sponsored Content" or "Commercial Partnership" at the top of the article. Sponsored content labels are never hidden or minimized.
Content updates
Consumer electronics evolve rapidly. Prices change, new models are released, and manufacturers end support for older products. We regularly review and update our articles to reflect current market conditions.
Every article displays its original publication date and the date of its most recent update. When content is substantially revised due to market changes, price updates, or new product releases, this is noted at the top of the article.
Corrections policy
We are committed to correcting factual errors promptly and transparently. If you find inaccurate information in any of our articles, please contact us with details. We will review your report, correct any verified errors, and update the article's "last updated" date.
We do not silently edit articles to remove or change information without disclosure. Significant corrections are noted in the article itself.
