This commission comes from the retailer's margin — you do not pay more when using our affiliate links. The price you see on the retailer's site is the same whether you arrive through our link or type the address directly.
Why we use affiliate links
Producing original, research-based technology reviews takes significant time and resources. Affiliate commissions help fund this work and keep SmartPickTech free to access for all readers.
However, we want to be very clear: financial considerations do not influence our content. Our editorial process, scoring methodology, and final recommendations are determined entirely by our research and analysis — not by which products offer higher commissions.

Whether or not a product has an affiliate link has zero impact on our review scores, rankings, or recommendations. Products we don't recommend don't get affiliate links.
No extra cost to you
Using our affiliate links costs you nothing. The commission we earn comes from the retailer's margin, not your pocket. You pay the same price regardless.
All affiliate links are clearly labeled
Every affiliate link in our articles is presented as a clear purchase button (e.g., "Check price on Amazon"). We do not hide affiliate links in plain text.
You can always buy directly
You are never required to use our affiliate links. You can search for any product directly on retailer sites. Our analysis and recommendations are not affected by how you purchase.
Sponsored content
SmartPickTech does not publish sponsored product reviews or paid editorial placements. We do not accept payment from manufacturers, brands, or retailers to publish positive content or favorable recommendations.
If we ever enter into a formal commercial partnership or publish content that has been sponsored or subsidized by a brand, it will be clearly and prominently labeled as "Sponsored," "Paid Partnership," or equivalent language at the top of the article — never disguised as independent editorial content.
